WHITNEY WINS RACE AT DONCASTER. London. Eng.. September 7. II. P. Whitneys Top o the Morning won the Glasgow Nursery Handicap Plate of 250 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, distance five furlongs, at Doncaster today. Pliotime was second and J. It. Keenes Suffragist was third. Among the nineteen starters was August Belmonts Fond Memories. The Champagne Stakes of I!0 sovereigns each, with 3,000 sovereigns added, for two-year-olds, distance five furlongs and 152 yards, was won by Neil Gow. Admiral Ilawke was second and Lemberg third. Four horses ran. the unplaced one being II. P. Whitneys Whisk Broom. Galleot won the Fitzwiiliam Selling Plato of 5 sovereigns each, with 200 sovereigns added, for all ages, distance three-quarters of a mile. Gallop Along was second and H. P. Whitneys Bobbin third. Nine ran. The Doncaster Welter-Handicap Plate of 400 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance one mile, was won by Arranmore. with Torbay second and II. 1. Whitneys Binna Ken third. There were thirteen starters.
