AMERICAN ACE IN GOOD CONDITION HOT SPRINGS Ark April 5 Trainer John Lowe lias American Ace which he is training for the Derby for Edward Cebrian wealthy western sportsman in excellent condition as i recent gallop of threequarters in 114 shows Lowe is sweet on the chances of this colt to take down the big end of the purse in the big Kentucky race and he has n doubt that the route of one anil onequarter miles will just suit him After sending him to the post once and giving him an unusually hard race even though it was only fiveeighths Lowe did not rush him along in his training for the Derby but now he harf him hard at it and his good work show the effect of his conditioning
