ENGLISH WINNING LISTS Statistics of the Turf for the Full Season on the Other Side, i Lord Glanely, Grand Parade and Orby Lead the Owners, Horses and Sires. LONDON, England, Aucust 20. The English racing season is in the. doldrums just now, confined to action on the minor courses in the London district and those in the smaller provincial circles. Jtnt the sport goes merrily on in a most healthy way. Prices for horses still rule astonishingly high, and the crowds attending .break all records. The racing statistics of the full season, from March 24 to August 24 inclusive, show Lord Glanely as tin; leading owner through Grand Parades- Kpsom Derby chiefly, and- Grand Parade to be the leading equine winner. Tie succefi; of Lord Glanely and Grand Parade and Diadem keep the Irish-American sire Orby at the top of the stallion heap. lie is likely to be displaced, however, by either Sun-dridge. The Tetrarch or Polynielus before the season ends. Sir Edward Hulton. the Manchester newspaper man, leads the breeders through Stornownys progeny, while Alec Taylor and Barling are in front among the trainers. The twenty-three owners to win over 5,000 during the season front March 24 to August 24 inclusive are as follows: Winning Races Owners. Horses. Won. Value.
