LEXINGTON COLORED FAIR RACING LEXINGTON, Ky., August 10. The racing officials for the Lexington Colored Fair, which begins August 15, include: Steward, Major T. C. McDowell; judges, W. S. Wallace, W. L. Lewis and .7. T. Ireland; starter, Tom Brown; official timer, W. C. Overton; clerk of the scales, Tom Monroe; racing secretary, Rice Porter. The principal races of the meeting will be the Lexington Colored Fair Derby, Idle Hour rurse, Hamburg Stud Purse, Beaumont Farm Purse, Ashland Farm Purse, Long Ridge Stock Farm Purse, Larchmont Stud Purse, King Gorin Stud Purse, Inspiration Purse, Jack Hare Jr. Purse, Short Grass Stud Purse, Cincinnati Enquirer Purse and Himyar Stud Purse. The winners of these purses will receive in addition to the first moneys handsome trophies donated by owners and breeders of tiie different breeding farms.
