BUMPETY BUMPS raced in closest pursuit of the early leader and ran well throughout. CRESTAAOOD BOY showed the most speed to the last eighth and tired. The latter set a good pace from the start, but was tiring at the end. DANCER saved ground on the turns and outstayed AlC MUNOZ. The latter ran well and had a rough race. TOE THE MARK was shutlled back at the start. BLUE JEANS ran a good half and quit. NAPOLI was knocked back on the far turn. CHAMPLAIN set a fast early pace, saved ground on the turns and was under slight restraint in the early running, but could not withstand the Winners challenge. FAST TRIAL began slowly, but finished fast and held the others safe. DEAONITE could never get up. ROYAL GIFT was shut off on the far turn. PADUA raced into a contending position on the baekstreteh, but tired in the last eighth. RUNQUOI was the victim of a bad ride and was much messed about.
