INTERESTING RACING AT DELORIMIER MONTREAL, Que., August 10. George Corder provided two of the winners at Delorimier Park this afternoon in Huron II .and Obstinate, both of which scored by narrow margins. Driving finishes that were close and exciting marked the majority of the races today. With the exception of Scarpia II. and Pretty Baby the other winners raced home first only by the narrowest of margins. The original first race was so reduced by sera t cl ing that it was declared off. A cheap claiming race was substituted and Scarpia II. proved to br an easy winner of it. W. Hinpliy and R. Ball divided the riding honor with two winners each. The weather was again hot and sultry, but at tendance was the largest of the week. O. Blank claimed Ripo3ta for ,300 from J. ncskins yesterday. W. Ralston iias purchased the two-year-old Muzzey. and C. Gamble will train the youngster. Godfrey Preece today purchased Gaway from J. S. Baldwin, and the horse will be shipped to West-bury, L. I. He will be converted into a jumper. J. S. Baldwin will ship to Ogdensburg, N. Y. tomorrow Fluviada, Ella Sterling and B. B. Johnston to race at the fair to be held there. G. Nibb-? will also send nlong Hot Spark. J. Wakeman has purchased Dickie W. from Mrs. W. Barnes and Willdo from II. Herron. T. Doyle will train his recent purchases. Jockey C. Garner will go to Erie, Pa., from here to ride at the coming meeting there. Among the stables which will ship to Erie are H. C. Garner, C. Fritz, E. E. Major, W. D. Millard, C. Sims. O. Foster. Mrs. C. Howard, A. Schwarlz. R. II. Good and O. Blank, The Millard string includes It, Lonely and Olive Wood. Fritz takes Mabel Trask and Slippery Silver and Garner lias British Isles and Sky Man. At the close of this meeting Amos Stamps will depart for Kentucky with Golden Day and Lightning Flash. S. T. Baxter will take Tony Beau end Sleepy Dear.
