CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF H. P. Whitneys beautiful and speedy filly Prudery is at the peak of her form and it will take the best to beat her. Tryster, champion two-year-old of 1920, is returning to the form that made him unbeatable last year. He is nearly ready for a race. J. D. Steele has started breaking ten yearlings at Douglas Park, the property of W. C. Wen nt. They are said to be good lookers and doiug well. A. P. Gorham has turned over to Frank Crew the mare Dora to train. The mare had been in the care of G. Skene, but the latter proceeded to- Montreal. Ray Rogers, for years connected with the Ea Trotter and Charles Bowe stables, died of tuberculosis in Chicago on August 8, burial taking place at Galesburg, 111.
