STATISTICS OF NEW KESSJSSNGTON MEETING The Allegheny Fair and Racing Associations fall meeting at New Kensington, Pa., occupied the time from September 12 to Ssp-tember 30, embracing fifteen days, during which time 100 races were decided and 0,-700 distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution amounting to 2,713. B. E. Major was the most successful of the owners with winnings of ,440 to his credit. Old Pop with a record of three victories and ,000 in money won heads the horses, while C. Eames was the bright star ! of the riding brigade with twenty-five win-ning mounts in eighty-two races and the ; high percentage of .30 to show for his work in the saddle. Aside from the fire that destroyed part of the plant and caused a two days postponement the meeting met with a fair measure of success and was free from any unpleasant incidents.
