Won driving, second and third tha same. CHARLES HENRY, helped by the stifi; going and showing the most speed under a good ride, set ! a good pace all the way and outstayed ROYAL DICK. The latter raced prominently for the entire way and was going fastest at the end. BEG PARDON had no mishaps and was close up all the way. APPROVAL ran well. RUBY had no mishaps. RAPID STRIDE was away poorly. SWEET LADY began fast and, showing the most speed, raced into a long lead at once, which she retained for the entire race. PORTLAND URN was closest in attendance on the leader throughout and finished gamely. GRASS MAID closed a big gap from a slow beginning. ROYAL MAID ran well, but tired in the stretch.
