y , , . , , STATISTICS OF KENILWORTH Kenton Stable Largest Winner at Final Meeting in Canada Ambrose Is the Biding Star. The final meeting of the year in Canada under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Racing Associations came to an end Saturday, October 7, at Kenilworth Park. During the usual seven days of racing 6,400 was distributed among the horsemen, the daily average purse money amounting to ?8,057. Of the owners participating the Kenton Stable garnered the lions share of the prizes, horses from that establishment accounting for six races and ,100. The Seagram Stable also figured prominently, with five victories and ,250. Although Ogarite and Penelope each won three races during the meeting, Merrimac and Brilliant Jester, each with two victories to their credit surpassed them in money winnings, Merrimac leading with ,700, while Brilliant Jester earned ,650 to the ,300 and ,500 respectively to the account bf Ogarite and Penelope. A distinctive feature of the meeting was the brilliant riding of jockey E. Ambrose, who piloted twelve winners out of 42 mounts for the high percentage of .29. J.
