BATTY H. raced INCOGNANCE into defeat and took a long lead, but tired in the stretch drive. IT raced well in the going and finished gamely. INCOGNANCE quit badly after setting the early pace. HONOLULU BOY was saved under strong restraint to the last turn, where he was called on and, under a strong hand ride, wore TOKALON MARCH down near the end and won going away. TOKALON MARCH raced close up from the start and took the lead in the homestretch, but could not withstand the winners rush. WOODIE MONTGOMERY made the pace for the first three-quarters, then tired.
