Won driving; second and third tha same. SANCHO PANSY, after racing in closest pursuit, passed CONFEDERACY and held CRUGIE safa in the final drive. The latter worked his way up through the middle of the field and made a fast finish. CONFEDERACY showed the most early speed, but ticrd in the stretch drive. GOLD MOUNT closed a big gap.
