Won driving; second and third the same. LADY AUDREY began slowly and was outpaced early, but gained rapidly in the final quarter and joining the leaders, finished fast and won drawing clear. HARD BARliAIN raced in closest pursuit all the way and outfinished SPONTANEOUS in the final drive. The latter set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired. BLUE MISS also tired after going well for a half mile. GLADYS V. can do much better. GOLD PENNANT had no mishaps. Scratched - 69573 3 Insurance. 109. STORY TELLER, off forwardly, was shuffled back in the first eighth, then improved her position steadily on the outside and, finishing fast, outhiiished ROMPING HOME. The latter Had I clear course all the way and made a game finish. MONDAY MORNING, while under hard riding, crossed over while rounding the last turn and caused GOOD TIME to fall, for which he was disqualified. WHIRLWIND was a forward contender all the way. but met with interference on the last turn and j was forced back, then recovered quickly and tired in the final eighth. GOOD TIME set a fast early pace. TULSA saved ground on the turns, but was in close quarters iu the last sixteenth. BUXOM 1 jan away a mile after the finish. TOM CASSIDY ran well to the last eighth.
