J«Bb ■,.■■%*!£• flit JI5SS DANGEROUS DERBY CANDIDATE NASSAU The best public performance of any of the Kentucky Derby cadindates to date is that of Frederick Johnsons English-bred colt Nassau at Lexington Monday April 30, when he captured the Winchester Purse at a mile and seventy yards, defeating Boys Believe Me, Bo McMillan and Park Hill in the fast time of 1 :43y5. Nassau won by six lengths, going the mile in 1:38%. This splendid performance has gained him many new admirers and on all sides he is considered a dangerous opponent for any mans horse.
