Latest Turf News From Pimlico Two of the two-year-olds in the W. L. S. Martin stable are slowly recovering from spring fever. The condition books for the forthcoming meeting to be held at Phoenixville. Pa., were ilistributed today. .rarr.e3 Dew brought over the condition books for the forthcoming meeting at Thorn-cliffe Park. The Glen Riddle Stable has disposed of the two-year-old Sir Glen to the Westfport Stable for the reported price of ,000. Herbert L. Pratt and Joseph K. Widener came over to witners the running of the Green Spring Valley Steeplechase. Jockey J. Williams has affiliated himself with the Kenton Stable and will do the high weight riding. The stable will be shipped to Canada. Two claims were filed yesterday. C. H. Hughes secured Caladium from the last race for ,100 and P. S. I. Randolph took Fusee for ,500. The Riviera Satbles Miss Star will be shipped to Pimlico to fill her engagements in the Pimlico Oaks, according to trainer Fred Taral. J. Pcden has announced that he will ship his own stable and the horses he has for the Triple Springs Farm to Toronto at the close of this meeting. Another misfortune has befallen the Willis Sharpe Kilmers Sun Briar Court. The brood mare Private Flag, by Hamburg, died shortly after foaling twins early this week. J. E. Davis has secured a contract on the services of jockey F. Woodstock for one year with the privilege of renewal. Woodstock will accompany the stable to New York. Word was received today of the death of the J. K. L. Ross brood mare Sue. at Harry Morrisseys Kemplands Farm, Lexington. Ky. The mare has a fine colt by Cudgel, which is all right. Thomas P. Gorman, secretary of the Con-naught Park Jockey Club at Ottawa, was a visitor this afternoon and conferred with Joseph Mclennan in reference to the spring meeting to be held at that point. J. K. L. Ross old campaigner Boniface, which is serving his first year in the stud, has been mated to more mares than Cudgel, according to reports from the Kemplands Farm, Lexington, Ky.
