May 4. — Thomas No- ■ Ian, who was thrown in the second race ■ while riding Good Time, suffered concussion i of the brain and was removed to St. Marys hospital at Jamaica, Nolan, who is 28 years i of age, was born at Hartford, the city that : has given the turf so many star riders, , among them Jimmy McLaughlin, Danny Ma-i her and "Snapper" Garrison. He has been i riding since he was 16 and has been in the employ of J. K. L. Ross, Samuel D. Riddle, , The Bevervvyck Stable and other prominent establishments.
