EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES L. Fator, second rider for the Rancocas Stable, has gone to Latonia to ride Bracadale in the Queen City Handicap Saturday. Dave Leary has the colt in his care for this Kentucky invasion. S. C. Hildreth said yesterday that he would not send Zev to Latonia until a couple ol days before the running of - the Latonia Championship Stakes. The colt is doing exceedingly well and he will have his final workout for the race before being shipped. Hildreth recalled , that the only chance Zev had to race through, mud this year was In his match with Papyrus. He said it was the easiest race the colt had all the year and those who watched the race will agree with the trainer. Alex Gordon has decided to ship the H. C Fisher horses to Pimlico and from there they will go to the Kentucky farm, with the exception of Mr. Mutt, which is being pointed for the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at a mile, for two-year-olds at Churchill Downs. Earl Sandeleft for Laurel Thursday to ride Mrs. Vanderbilts Sarazen in his special race with Happy Thoughts. He will remain for the Washington Handicap Saturday, in which he will have the mount on the Colorado Sta.bles Little Chief.
