ZEV TO LEAVE WEDNESDAY Rancocas Star Expected to Reach Latonia Next Thursday My Own Coming at Same Time. LATONIA, Ky., Oct 25. Asked concerning the condition of Zev, trainer Dave Leary, who arrived here today with Bracadale to represent the Rancocas Stable in the Queen City Handicap, said that the colt came out of his race with Papyrus in good style and that since the running of the race he had worked three-eighths and would, track conditions permitting, today be worked a mile and a quarter at Belmont Park. Ho was informed by triner Hildretth that the colt with three stable companions would be shipped to Latonia from New York next Wednesday and would arrive the following day. Hildreth is expected to reach here at the same time. Admiral Cary T. Graysons My Own will reach the Latonia track from Maryland at about the same time that Zev gets here, according to information from trainer Burch. With My Own will come a stable companion. My Owns cold is seemingly not of a troublesome nature and little apprehension is felt here that he will be unable to fill his engagement against Zev. The great amount of interest already in the Latonia Championship is reflected by an order from Chicago for a block of 250 reserved seats and advices that saveral special trains for the convenience of the many that intend witnessing the race are being arranged.
