EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES G. W. Carroll has gone to Latonia to finish out that meeting in the serviec of E. R. Bradley. Later he will go to Pimlico to ride the division of the Bradley horses that are to race" at that meeting. Louis Vivadou, owner of the Riverla Stable, purchased Fabian at the sale of tho Hewitt estate. A. L. Dahlman was commissioned to buy Fabian, and at first Mr. Vivadou put a limit of 1923.sh,000 on the price, but later he told Dahlman to use his own judgment. This permitted him to go to ,000, at which price the colt was bought.
