BOWIE TRACK NOTES j BOWIK, Md.— April 1. Jockey B. Breuning arrived from Tijuana and will resume riding here tomorrow. Licenses have been issued to seventy-one jockeys for the Bowie meeting. Jack B. Campbell was an arrival from Miami and resumed his position as presiding placing judge. The Devonshire Breeding Farm report the arrival of their first 1925 foal, a brown filly by Nutcracker from Bayonne. James McClelland, with Boy Waldron and Andy Schuttinger, were visitors of the day from Havre de Grace. Mortimer Mahoney was in attendance and he combinr-d business with pleasure when he obtained several entries for the 1imlico stakes that are to close Tuesday. Dick Bending purchased the horse Corfi from J. K. I.. Boss with the idea of turning him into a steeplechaser. While being sehooled through the field he broke down and was then turned out. He will be gelded during the summer.
