ELEVEN SIXTY raced head and head with his stablemate to the stretch, and drew away slightly at the sixteenth post, but had to be ridden out to the limit to withstand the challenge of JIMMIE TRINZ. The latter began slowly and was much used in getting to a contending position, but after coming wide into the stretch, finished with a rush and would have won in another stride. TURKS SIXTY showed speed, and only gave way in the final sixteenth. The others were always outpaced. PRINCE RONALD ran a particularly had race. LONE PINE raced next to the rail throughout and fini-hed fast. OLYMPIAN KING began fast, but was immediately outpaced and tired m the final drive. FERNANDOS Joomed up in the stretch, then quit. MISS NANTURA set a good pace and only gave way near the end. MISS OMOND was a prominent contender all the way and finished -am. -It. OI.DS EICIIT was far back for a half and came fast on the last turn and finished with a tremendous rush. BIG INDIAN was away well and finished close up. SOLIMENTK followed CHEVALIER persistently and wore him down in the stretch, but just as she seemed the winner, bolted to the outside fence, which cost her the race. CHEVALIER showed a high turn of speed in pacemaking, but was rushed along at top speed and tired. SUNBOW ran well. WAR WINNER and AMACKASSIN were pinched back shortly after the start, and never had a chance. BEDAZZLE ■bowed a good order of speed and made a game effort to wear CADMUS down, but failed to quite get up. CLARKSON was turned sideways at the start and as good as left, but raced up to the leader gradually, then tired after running a good three-quarters. CREEN SPRING ran well and finished gamely.
