WOODBINE TURF NOTES TORONTO, Ont, May 5. The J. K. L. Ross string of twenty-two horses reached here safely from Louisville in charge of trainer Henry McDaniel. Albert Claver, Pete Walls, R. Fisher and E. Bourassa will do the pigskin work for tho Ross stable over the Canadian circuit. Vrana, Caduceus and Ausmar, well known to Canadian racegoers, all owned by the Ross stable, died during the winter. Fairbank, the J. C. Fletcher Kings Plate candidate, is partial to a muddy track. Galloper, a brown two-year-old colt by Cudgel, was bought by J. K. L. Ross at the Saratoga sales last year. He is one of the largest juveniles in training. s
