ai . I i ยป PARKING SPACE AT HAWTHORNE TRACK An innovation at Hawthorne this year will be the parking spaces for motor cars. Whin a car passes through the gates there will be given a parking card, showing exactly where to locate, the original card being given to the car owner and the duplicate attached to the car. This will save a world of trouble I in locating the cars on the big days and at j the same time will be a thorough protection to the person owning the car. There will be I three sections to park in and ample space for everybody. All sections will be numbered, printed in different colors and will be under I the charge of a supervisor with a man in charge of each letter. The club house section has been enlarged and the door leading to the parking s ction will be opened immediately after the last race to permit the people to use this entrance. Joseph McLennan, representing the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association at Pimlico, notified the Chicago office that he is receiving applications for stable room from many of the big owners in the East.
