SHIFTING OF OHIO OFFICIALS Judge Murphy to Serve at Maple Heights — Messrs. Ireland and Norvell Remain at Columbus. COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 5. — By a reciprocal j | arrangement between the Beulah Park and Maple Heights management, there will be a shifting of officials to cover the one day of conflict between the meetings next Saturday. Judge Joseph A. Murphy will leave Friday Bight and take charge at Maple Heights Sat- | urday. John Ireland will remain here for the closing day, reporting at Cleveland Mon- j day. W. R. Norvell. who will act as racing sec- | | retary at Maple Heights, will also remain 1 here to the close. His work at Cleveland will be taken care of by Charles Henry until his i j arrival. I Trainers and jockeys have been notified to have their applications for licenses filed before Saturday morning. Temporary licenses will be granted those applying until the full j j license committee, composed of W. H. Kin- j I nan, Joseph A. Murphy and John Ireland, | representing the Ohio Racing Commission, Incorporated, can meet Monday.
