Won easily; second and third driving. LADY BOSS set a good pace from the start, raced into a good lead and easily won all the way. NEW HOPE was shuffled back shortly after the start, but worked her way up on the cutside and finished gamely. WINNING BIRD raced in closest pursuit to the stretch, but tired badly in the final eighth. CARMEN PANTAGES, fractious at the post, ran a good race. WESTOVER, SAFFRON and TUEO RED began slowly and were always outrun. EMISSARY was badly outrun for the first half, but gained steadily in the stretch and outfinished DANBY in the final drive. DANBY was much used in following the winner closely and tired. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. LEOPARDESS took the lead quickly and, setting a fast pace under light restraint, made a fast and game finish. CHERRY PIE was Muffled back at the start and ran into interference on the first turn, but slipped through on the inside while rounding the far turn and, finishing with a ru-ch, would have won in another stride. MAD lLAY lost ground on the first turn and was rushed into a contending position and, taken under restraint, came on the outside when entering the stretch, and tired as if needing a race. STING followed the early leaders closely, but quit when put to a drive. AGA KHAN was outrun all the way. KLONDYKE began sluggishly and also was outrun. DUNLIN pulled up lame.
