COLUMBUS TURF NOTES COLUMBUS, O., May 5. Jockey J. Byrne has severed his connection with the stable of L. T. Cooper. Jockey F. Seromba was set down for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding in the third race Monday. Briar Sweet was claimed by T. Hodge, acting for the St. Bernard Stable, for ,000. J. S. Ware claimed Weary Dick at the same price from T. W. Marr. At private sale. O. L. McLoone purchased Bessie Hope and J. Sands will train the filly in the future.
