Won easily; second and third driving. TIlPITY WITCHET was taken back in the first eighth and raved to the the stretch, then took the lead and won going away through the last sixteenth. ZANTE set the pace to the stretch and fin shed gamely. PRUDY raced well, but began tiring in the last eighth. LONGCHAMPS began slowly and closed a gap. The latter made up ground and came fast through the stretch. DECEITFUL raced well for the entire way, but was tiring at the end. VALENCE moved up gamely when reaching the stretch, but had to i be ridden hard in the last sixteenth to outstay POLLY ATWELL. The latter closed an immense gap 1 in the stretch and wou!d have lieen second in a few strides more. EARL COMBS tired in the last I eighth. SERIOUS was done after running a good half mile. SARAH 1 DAY showed the- most speed to the stretch and finished well. SAAR had a rough race, but finished 1 resolutely. GLORIA gUAYI.E ran well. COLONEL SCHOOLER showed speed, but tired.
