j | : i j j I I ] SUNNY MAN INVESTIGATION Nothing New Disclosed in the Alleged Poisoning of W. S. Kilmers Derby Hope. BALTIMORE. Md.. May 5.— Investigations instituted into the alleged poisoning of Willis Sharpe Kilmers Derby candidate Sunny Man, which died here Saturday night, have made little or no progress, according to reports here today. The Washington Post last night offered a reward of ,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the poisoning of the colt. The insurance companies, whose policies covered the colt to the extent of about 00,000, have been con-. ducting a quiet investigation of their own and private detectives employed by owner Kilmer are also hard at work. The colt, according to the diagnosis of Dr. R. W. McCully. died from the effects of arsenic and Chloral, administered with intent to kill. Dr. McCully ridiculed reports that the colt could have died from an over-idose of a sedative, declaring that the symptoms precluded any such possibility.
