Dick Welles* Selections At Bowie j | COONCAN— GALATIA— SEA SAND. COONTAN has had a couple of races which should put him right on edge for todays race. He finished a good third in his last out. being beaten only a head for the first money. OALATIA did not fare so well in her first appearance here, but that can be- attributed to the long trip she had from Tampn. She raced exceeding!., well at the Florida course and is expected to do better today. SEA BAND hasnt raced to his previous Bowie form, but with a fast racing strip once again may do better. I.IKl TKNANT KARRKLI POOR SPORT —CAMOUFLAGE. 1,1 ■ I TENANT FARRELLS last race would indicate that he is getting into form and he should do well on a fast track. I*OOR SPORT was beaten by a nose by French Liady his last race and eanbe expec ed to give a good account of himself. CAMOU-KIAdE always races well over this course but has been a bit unlucky in his recent races, Looks good for the show money. MACBETH— DRIMBE AT— FLEETWOOD. MACBETH raced second to Muskallonge in his race Monday, and the effort should have done him much good. Against this company he looks like a real good play. DRUMBEAT raced well here last fall but hasnt reached that form yet. FLEETWOOD tired in his last race after being well up. 4»oks good for third place. H. P. WHITNEY ENTRY— RED ROCKET-JACK HORGAN. The crack Whitney juvenile FLORIAN. coupled with his stablemate CAPTAIN* KETTLE, is given the call in the Bowie Kindergarten Stakes, the feature race on todays program. The former has a win and a second to bis credit, but CAPTAIN KETTLE has never faced the barrier yet. He is a reported speed king, and if breeding has anythiim to do with it he should be a first cla.«*s racing article. RED ROCKET scored impressively in his only Bowie start and should l e the one to land in second place. JACK HORGAN also turned in a good race on the occasion of his last start and is liked for the show end of the purse. ST. VALENTINE— LEON A RI» C— ARBITRATION. ST. VALENTINE is in good form at the present and was unfortunate to lose his last race. If he continues at the same clip will be a hard one to beat here. LEONARD O. has done nothing of late, but is reported to be in good condition now. He has been working in a manner to suggest that hr is about ready for a winning race. ARBITRATION showed well in his last race and the same effort today should see him in the money at the finish. MiSK ALLONGE— FORNOVO— KAMA. MUSKALLONOE started and won on Monday, and it is doubtful if he will be asked , to race again today. He is of the type that j j thrives on work however, and should he be | j sent to the post, is looked to score again. FORNOVO has been coming along satisfactorily and is gradually getting Into winning form. If MlSKALLONOE does not start, he looks the best play. ZAMA has been doing well in his workouts and. if he runs to them, could get the show. MYSTIC- YOSHIMI— GAVLY. MYSTIC ran a good game race on his last out and. if he is fortunate enough to get out in front today, look to him to prove ■ repeater. YOSHIMI is in racing trim right now and will prove a hard one to beat. JAYLY usually races best over a fast track and, on that score, should be the one to get the show money.
