SOME PROMISING MATERIAL TORONTO Ont Canada May 26 At the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting Preston Burch accompanied his employer George Wingfield to Kentucky to look over the brood mares and young stock that Mr Wingfield has at the Thomas Piatt Farm near Lexing ¬ ton Mr Wingfield has about twenty mares at the Piatt place Most of the mares havo already foaled Three of them have hand ¬ some chestnut colts by North Star III There are also two brothers to General Thatcher on the farm one a yearling and another a weanling Burch has four mares himself in Kentucky and one of them has a colt by North Star III
