J. E. WIDENERS GOOD NEWS PARIS, France, June 14. Joseph E. Wide-ner, president of the Westchester Racing Association, was heartily congratulated when news of Chance Shots victory in the Belmont Stakes was received here. The victory was particularly pleasing to the owner of the colt. Mr. Widener expressed regret that he missed seeing the race, but he was highly gratified that his son led in the winner.
