Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. OUTLAWED began slowly but, benefited by a good ride, saved much ground on the tnrns and gamely otitfinished MYRTLE BELLE. The latter was ridden wide into the stretch, costing her much ground, but made a fast and game finish. THE ROLL CALL closed a gap in the last quarters and .was racing gamely at the end. BATIIILDE SETH showed fine speed in pacemaking for three-quarters, but tired badly in the stretch. LAST CENT raced prominently to the stretch. POMPOUS closed a big ep. . WAPONOCA moved up fast and saved much ground on the first three turns, but was allowed to race wide on the stretch turn and swerved, barely lasting to outstay BILL HARE. The latter raced close up for the entire way and raced gamely through the final drive. EXTRA EDITION came fast in the last quarter. TED was close up most of the way. MAKE UP had no mishaps. Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. TRUE PAL was close up from the start and, after a brief drive with SCOTLAND GIRL, took the lead and drew away in the last seventy yards. SCOTLAND GIRL began from an outer position and had a clear course for the entire race, but tired slightly in the last sixteenth. BIRDWOOD showed the most speed, but began tiring when reaching the last eighth. BUN was shuffled back in the first quarter. FAIR JUSTICE ran a poor race. SUN SABEUR was always far back. Wou easily; second and third driving. ORESTES II.. lucky and away well, raced close up from the 6tart and, taking the lead on the last turn, held it gamely through the stretch and outfinished SANOLA. The latter, also away forwardly, j set the early pace, then raced in closest rursuit to the end and finished fast. CUDGELLER had to race wide on most of the turns, but came fast in the last sixteenth. THIRTEEN SIXTY had no mis-! haps and tired near the end. GIRL SCOOT was unprepared at the start and was away poorly, then suffered from interference on the turn and was generally messed about. ST. VALENTINE tired. Scratched 14321 Senator Norris, 108. LITTLE AMMIE suffered from crowding when she attempted to get through on the last turn, but came quickly in the stretch when she secured racing room and was going fastest of all at the end. WORTHMAN-movci up fast in the lasc quarter and tired near the end. GEO. DEVER made a good move in the stretch, but tired. FORELAND set the early pace, but quit badly in the last quarter.
