AT POST 2 minutes. - Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. DEDANS, away well, raced close up for the first three-eighths, then took the lead when-called on and won easing up. WIDGEON began fast and showed the most early speed and swerved out badly on the stretch turn, then finished gamely and outstayed HELEN T. The latter swerved out after the start nnd was taken back but finished fast. WATCHFUL tired after reaching the stretch. GLAD-RAGS ran poorly. CHARLEY J. S., away fast and showing the most speed, saved ground where possible, responded to hard riding after reaching tin; stretch and, after drawing away slightly in the last eighth, tired in the last few strides. COLONEL SHAAV raced to the winner with a rush on the first turn, then raced wide on the last turn, but, finishing gamely, was going best of all at the end. KENTUCKY A OH raced well but wide on the turns. QUEENSTON had no mishaps. GOLD HANDLE was outrun after goiug the first three-sixteenths. ATLANTIC ran poorly. CHARGER made a game finish after, appearing ready to quit on the stretch turn. DUCKWEED was badly outrun. IINDAR PEEL inccd under stont restraint for the first half mile, then easily passed BITTER Into the lead after reaching the stretch and was not fnlly extended in the final eigthb. SUSAN REBECCA, close up from the start, suffered from crowding when coming through on the inside in the Btretch, but made a fast finish. THREE SIXTY finished well under vigorous riding. RITTER showed the meat speed for a half mile, but tired badly in the last quarter. PROMISING TOM was going well at the end. ACIREMA, racing well in the going and showing the most speed from the start, withstood the challenge of SCIMITAR after going a half mile and, racing into a long lead at the stretch turn, won in a canter. SCIMITAR began sluggishly and met light interference on the first turn, but ran a game race. PARCO had no mishaps and was tiring badly after going a half mile. NAIRBEO was. badly outrun. The latter began fast and took the lead, but was taken under restraint, while following the winner, then responded gamely to hard riding in the stretch, but could not quite get up. CARTAGO, far back in the early running, came with a rush and was going fast at the end. ROYAL PENNANT began fast and raced prominently throughout. DA VINCI and NOBLE WRACK had no mishaps. ALLOY, far hack in the early running, raced wide when moving up fast in the last half mile and was going fast at the end. CORPOSANT ran well. PANDY tired after going five-eightha.
