WASHINGTON PARK NOTES j . $ flOMBWOOD, 111., June 17. The veteran rider Albert Johnson was an arrival at Washington Park coming from La-tonia. He is here to ride E. R, Bradleys Buddy Bauer in the Derby. The third and final issue of condition books was placed in the hands of horsemen today. It covers the final nine days of racing at Washington Park. The stakes covering the latter part of the meeting are the Robert M. Sweitzer Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, at one mile and an eighth, and the Homewood Stakes, for two-year-old colts and geldings, at five and a half furlongs. Both races have an added value of ,000. W. J. Salmon shipped four horses here in charge of Frank Harrington. They are Golden Powder, a three-year-old and the two-year-old fillies Teco, Flying Dust and Lelias. The usual post time of 2:10 will prevail Derby Day.
