Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. DINGO was shuffled back at the start and, racing on the outside for the first half, "closed a big gap with a rush and, overhauling ORTLIEB, headed him right at the end. The latter showed the most speed from the start, but ran out on the turn and hut for swerving in near the end might have won. ANTIQUARIAN came from far back and finished fast. LADY HERBERT moved up menacingly when ridden hard in the stretch, but tired near the end. STINTSON quit in the final, drive. BON BON was done after going a half mile. JANE C. showedearly speed. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. BENITO, close up from the start, raced under restraint to the stretch and, responding to vigorous riding, headed MY SUNYLAN in the last strides. MY SUNYLAN raced into the lead witli a rush and raced wide to the stretch, then finished gamely, but could not withstand the winner. ETERNAL MAGIC, away slowly and forced wide in the early running, came with a rush on the inside from the stretch turn and finished fast. BETTY B. ran well and had no mishaps. WARFIELD finished fast. Won easily; second and third driving. 4 JESSICA quickly sprinted into an easy lead, saved ground where possible, and won without being fully extended. TIGER FLOWERS raced gamely under restraint for the first three-eighths, hut was taken to the inside in the stretcli and, being weakly ridden in the last eighth, was lucky to outfinish WILLIAM T. The latter was forced back after going a quarter, then gained steadily and finished fast. LADY PARAMOUR tired after having forced the pace to the stretch turn. QUILTING PARTY raced fairly well. The latter, close up from the start, began racing to the leaders on the outside in the stretch and, making a fast finish, was wearing the winner down. PROFITEER saved much ground on the trims and came again after being cut off on the stretch turn. SEA SCAMP tired after forcing the pace for three-quarters. ORMAN tired badly. ENERGY, away fast, was taken under restraint, while following the early pacemaker, and took a short lead in the stretch, but tired. SIR PETER, taken back in the first quarter, finished fast under a weak rider. CANTER raced well and had no mishaps. MALLY JANE set a fast pace and saved much ground on the turns, but also tired.
