COL. ARTHUR BOARD DEAD LATONIA, Ky., June 17. News of the sudden death of Col. Arthur Board at Louisville this morning, came as a severe shock to his numerous friends among the officials and horsemen at Latonia. Colonel Board for many years had been a most ardent devotee of the sport, his colors having been seen on the Kentucky turf tor almost two decades. His thoroughbred holdings at the time of his death were in charge of A. Baker. Colonel Board was president of the Swann-Abrahams Hat CQm-pany of Louisville and extensively interested in numerous other enterprises.
