Start bad and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. BARBER JOnN was away fast and, racing close up. in the early running, headed nONEYNOOK in the last seventy yards and won going away. HONEYNOOK, also away well, showed the most speed to the stretch, but began tiring in the last sixteenth. FAIR LARK raced closeup for the entire race. TRUE -PAL was unprepared at the start and ran a good race. INDRA also was away in a tangle and raced well. TRUE GAL was away poorly and always raced far back. Won driving: second and third the same. ADVENTURESS, away well and racing close to the leaders in the early rnnning, came fast through the stretch and gamely outfinished KEEGAN. The latter suffered slightly from crowding soon after the start, but came fast through the last eighth and would have won in a few more strides. IDLE THOUGHTS finished close up and ran a good race. HULLO began slowly and closed a big gap. PON-3 OLA set a fast pace, but began tiring badly in the stretch. PERRIEHON ran fairly well.
