WHISKERY DUE FOR A REST HOMEWOOD, 111., June 20. Whiskery will probably be an absentee from the Latonia Derby as the Whitney colt, which won the Kentucky Derby, indicated in his race Saturday that he is clearly off form and will probably be rested. He was a thoroughly beaten racer after going a mile and a quarter in 2:07, which was not particularly fast. This also forcibly makes it appear that the timers blundered when they hung out .. for I the mile and a half.
