WINDSOR STAKE ENTRIES Two Hundred and Seventy-Eight Nominations for Seven Attractive Features. DETROIT, Mich., June 20, Two hundred and seventy-eight nominations have been made to the seven stakes to be decided at the first summer meeting of the-Windsor Jockey Club, the week of July 14-21. The largest number of entries was made to the Provincial, with ,000 added, for two-year-olds, with a total of fifty-eight, the best showing in the history of the fixture. The Canadian Handicap, also with ,000 added, was the lightest in the history of that stake- with an entry list of sixteen. There are forty-one nominations to the 0,000 Frontier Handicap, considerably in excess of the average over the period of twenty-three years, during which time", the historic stake has been run.
