LAT0N1ATURF NOTES t s and XiATONIA, Ky., June 27. The two-year-old Molly Dick, belonging to the Shady Brook Farm, has been fired and turned out at :his owners farm near Louisville. Former Senator J. N. Camden is expected to attend Wednesday nights meeting of the Thoroughbred Horsemens Association at the Hotel Sinton, Cincinnati, at which several items of importance to the organization will be taken up. E. B. McLean, who had expected to return to Washington, following the running of the Latonia Derby, altered his plans and contemplates a continuation of his Latonia visit for another week at least. Apprentice T. Maguire suffered a badly bruised leg when thrown from Goldstamp, when the horse hurdled the inside fence after bolting soon after the start of the first race. He was forced to cancel his other mounts. Jock, from the E. B. McLean stable, was the only contestant in the Latonia Derby to incur injury during the running of the race. The colt received, a cut on his right foreleg, but the injury, however, is not serious enough to interfere with his future engagements at Latonia. Wm. Reed will ship Scimitar and four other horses to Raceland xiext Wednesday. The stable of L. B. Draun, in charge of Cecil Howard, was transferred to Windsor Sunday morning. The Kenton Farms good two-year-old Typhoon, winner of the Basliford Manor Stakes at Churchill Downs, will be on the shelf for some time. The colt had the firing irons applied for ankle trouble by Dr. J. H. ODon-nell this morning, and probably "will not be seen under colors again before fall. 12. F. Cooneys Dolan, "which finished a splendid second to Handy Mandy in the Latonia Derby, Sunday was shipped to the Aqueduct track. The divisions of the Idle Sour Farm stable will be campaigned East and West after the current meeting. H. J. Thompson is taking his section of the pretentious stable to Saratoga, while Wm. Hurley is to take almost a score of horses to Lincoln Fields to race under the popular green and white colors. Claude Hunt, who was given a license to ride by the license committee of the racing commission last Saturday, will resume riding without delay. He Is now under contract to the Parkview Stable of Mrs. Geo. B. Cox of Cincinnati. Track superintendent Chas. Nolte, who has worked hard to get the Latonia course in perfect condition, -will take a much needed rest after the close of the Latonia meeting. He is planning a vacation of two weeks in Canada. Jockey E. Scobie was granted a . license to ride at the meeting by the stewards this afternoon. Pat Stanton shipped his small stable to Windsor, taking jockey J. Guerra along to do the riding. Jockeys C Allen and W. LITJey returned from Fairmount Park and had mounts daring the afternoon. La4y Carolyn is the latect addition to starter Hamiltons schooling list.
