NIKI, away quickly, took the lead in the stretch with a rush and, withstanding challenges from HOUSE GIItL. made a fast and game finish. HOUSE GIRL ran a good race from the start and took a brief lead after passing the eighth post, but tired right at the end. PARAGRAPH raced close up all the way, but was in close quarters when passing the elbow. EBONY MAID ran a good race throughout, MARGARITA AHEARN tired. BLACK GAL ran well for a half mile. CLYT1E was In close quarters in the early running. SLY POLLY began in a tangle and was bumped shortly after the start. Won easily; second and third driving. CORONATION was close up under restraint for the first turn of the field, then moved up with a rush into a long lead when nearing the thirteenth jump, but swerved in and out and caused RAVEL .to stumble and lose his rider at the fourteenth jnmp for which he was disqualified. DOUBLE TIP jumped well throughout and finished gamely. LIROUX was a forward contender to the first turn of the field and outgamed MAUREEN BAWN at the end. The latter had no mishaps. CANDY HOG, close up all the way, made and challenge when entering the stretch and tired near the end. WEE BURN was outrun from the start and came with a belated rush at the end. ARCHITECT worked his way up and, responding to hard riding, outgamed PETER PETER at the end. PETER PETER bowed much speed from the start and, racing CLEARANCE into defeat, finished well. CLOUDLAND. close up from the start, was forced wide when entering the stretch and tired.
