April 7.— In the list of nominations lor the Fairmount Derby, a Which will be announced shortly, will appear d the names of five colts from the famous Ran- I cocas Stable of Harry F. Sinclair, according o to an announcement made by C. Bruce Head, c general manager of the Fairmount Jockey I Club. The Sinclair entries will include Ariel, t Nassak, Mowlee, Sublevado and Daric for 1 the 5,000 feature event of the spring meet- s ing, which opens Saturday. May 20,- and con- r tinues to include Saturday, July 7. I In addition to those nominated in the Fair- t mount Derby, the Rancocas Stable will be represented also in the other early-closing f stake events, Mr. Head said. Other promt- rl nent eastern owners who have named their c good norses for the Fairmount Derby and I the other stakes featuring the thirty-seven t days of racing scheduled for the spring meet- i ing, include the Belair Stable. Murphy, who will serve as presid- : ing steward at the coming Fairmount Park * meeting, began a careful check this morn- ing of the large list of nominations for the Fairmount Derby and the five other ,000 1 stakes. It was stated that the list of nomina- tions for each of the events will be an- ■ nounced as soon as compiled. General manager Head announced that the stake events would be run on the following ■ dates : Collinsville Handicap, ,000 added, for three-year-olds and over, three-quarters mile, Saturday. May 2G.
