The Chicago sportsman raced a modest stable of nine horses in 1927, but nevertheless won 7,988. The appropriately named Chicago was chiefly responsible for the above mentioned fine record. Undoubtedly Chicago was one of the best handicap horses of last year. Speedy, game, a capital weight carrier, he gave conclusive testimony of high quality in a number of scintillating performances, the majority of which were over Chicago tracks, to the delight and profit of his many admirers.
