u n . .r .k RACING SECRETARY KILLED In South Africa, In December last, when Oliver Davis, secretary of the Durban Turf Club, and his son, J. Davis, were flying to Johannesburg for the big meeting, the ma-it chine crashed. Mr. Davis was killed, and his son severely injured. The machine waa fly- ing low. owing to Oliver Davis weak heart. and it is believed it struck the top of a hill I which was not seen owing to fog.
