Start pood and slow. Won easily; second and third the same. STANDARD BEARER, away well, set a good pace under restraint and drew away In the final sixteenth to win easing up. RElIISAL was close up all the way, finished well and had no mishaps. PADRAIt; finished fast and outgamed CARE FREE at the end. The latter began slowly and worked his way up fast on the outside, but was tiring at the end. SUNDRIGHT ran well and had no mishaps. TLRF KING began slowly. The saddle on LOREI.EI slipped. IIEI.ENITA set a fast early pace, saved ground on the turns and had no mishaps. BELLA MARTIN ran a good race throughout. GEM OF THE OCEAN* also ran well all the way. POLYDOR was used in setting a fast pace from the start and tired under his weight at the end. FINITE was forced •tit when entering the stretch and tired in the final sixteenth.
