PURCHASES THREE MARES BALTIMORE, Md., May 10.— Willie Dang-man consummated a deal with R. I. Miller this morning whereby he secured for his patrons the mares Sailing Along, by Pennant ; Faith, by Fair Play, and Overcast, by Broomstick, together with their foals. These three mares have been bred to Single Foot and they will remain at the Griffith farm until such time as they are removed to Brook-den Hall Farm at Westchester, Pa. Dang-man also purchased the two-year-old Corpus Delecti, but Miller is to race her this summer in Canada and turn her over in the fall. Options were also obtained on Not Guilty and Taulina L. Immediately after the running of the Preakness, Dangman will leave for Hamilton, Ohio, where he has been engaged to act as associate steward to John T. Ireland at the eighteen-day meeting, which kf scheduled to run from May 14 to June $.
