NEW YORK TURF NOTES t ft v NEW YORK, N. Y.. May 10. George Burke received word from Baltimore that jockey S. Efebert is convalescing at a Baltimore hospital, where be has been a patient for the past three weeks, and expects to be discharged shortly. Isidore Bieber was an arrival today and will remain for the balance of the New York c season. Jockey Lawrence Lyke arrived from Kentucky and will seek engagements here. A. Swenke arrived from Maryland and stabled his horses, at Jamaica. Jockey Laverne Fator, fully recovered from 1 his recent illness, resumed riding today. He D will leave for Baltimore tonight to ride Nas-sak in the Preakness. Jockeys M. Garner, D. McAullffe and A. ; Pascuma left for Pimlico. Garner rides Petee-Wrack. while Pascuma has been restored by the stewards for the one race. Hurry K. Yingiu, well known to racing ? some seasons back, is seriously ill at his s home at Smithtown.
