ELECT CASKEY PRESIDENT! P. T. Chinn Vice-Pr3sident and Fred Forsythe Secretary of Horse Association. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 12.— At the meeting of the Thoroughbred Horse Association held here Friday night, V.illiam E. Caskey, Jr., was elected president of the organization ; P. T. Chinn, vice-president, and Fred Forsythe, secretary. Election of a treasurer was left to the board of directors. A number of committees were drafted, one to express the assDciations appreciation of the work done by E. 11. Bradley and T. E. Cromwell, former president and secretary, respectively, being made up of Mose Goldblatt, B. B. Williams and J. H. Moody. C. H. Knebelkamp, H. Xeusteter and J. B. Partridge were appointed as a committee on membership, and J. S. Wiggins, Messrs. Caskey and Chinn as a committee to investigate the matter of horse insurance and publication of a monthly paper. Lawrence Jones, field secretary ; T. P. Hayes and Messrs. Caskey and F. O. Forsythe addressed the members. Mr. Jones remarks dealt with the financing and membership of the association. It was decided that there wdll be another meeting of the association before the expiration of the present Churchill Downs meeting.
