NEW YORK TURF NOTES t ft — »l NEW YORK, ft. Y.. May 12. Jockey F. Weiner arrived from Pimlico and accepted mounts today. John Zoeller will ship Twelve Thirty. Chow Mein and Marion Payne to Toronto in charge of Dave Boyle. Following the failure of Nassak in the Preakness Stakes yesterday, S. C. Hildreth stated that the colt would not be shipped to I Kentucky to start in the Derby. Xassak will be returned to Belmont Park. Jockey D. McAuliffe. who suffered a bruised foot while riding James Butlers Lycidas at Jamaica last week, has cancelled all of his I engagements until the Derby. However. McAuliffe will exercise Distraction at the Kentucky track. Trainers James Rone. Sr., Alex Gordon and T. J. Healey returned from Pimlico, I where they went for the Preakness Stakes. Johnny Crane, veteran San Francisco sportsman, arrived for his annual visit. Kelson Strang has sufficiently recovered from his illness to resume his duties in the i office of clerk of the scales Burhw. , — .* .
