BRAMSTAR improved his position steadily on the outside, responded to hard riding when called on and, heading the leaders, was drawing away in the final sixteenth. AGAPANTHUS showed the most speed nearly throughout and raced GCINKA HEN into defeat, but tired finally. LORD BROOM improved his position gamely and finished fast. BROWN FLASH, hard ridden from the half-mile post, saved much ground when entering the stretch, then stood a long drive gamely and outfinished HERODIAN in the final drive. HERODIAN, close up from the start, raced into the lead when entering the stretch and raced gamely to the end. GREY LAG showed much speed all the way. raced CHERRY PIE into defeat and finished resolutely. DOLAN trapped back after rounding the far turn and came again at the end. SWEEPSTER was brought wide when entering the stretch and could not improve his position. CHERRY PIE quit badly. Scratched- 24103-Sankari, 114. SIN CUIDADO was forced to be taken up shortly after the start and closed a gap gamely. SIPAWNA was in early trouble and forced back, bat finished wide. CUALNCEY tired at the end. D.IINN quit badly.
